This is a large seat, and we had to move it to behind the passenger side of our car, as there wasn’t enough room for the driver to move his seat back and actually drive the car. I’ve found it simple to remove the canopy and do not have it on the carrier on most days. It stays up nicely, but when pushed back (as in, not in use) it sags and often falls under the carrier.

The canopy on the seat is huge, and protects her nicely in the rain. Not necessarily plush, but it seems more firm–so that she likely feels less of the hard plastic.Â Â The Chaperone’s seat isÂ simple to remove and wash (when necessary) and, while just as heavy as other seats, the handle makes it easy to carry.
